Hallelujah...30's The New 20's...
If the above title is true (according to jay hova) I'm 17 again!!!
Yes folks...its hilarious im grown and sexy...(well i been sexy for a minute but) I'm grown officially...i had a fab house party...w fab friends. and a clothing change DIVA DARRRRLINGS!
i've been thinking tho i remember asking myself - i wonder what i'll be like in 2007 @ age 27?
i swore up and down i'd be
Sucessful (i'd say that i am.. so check!)
Rich (almost check..)
Have the most amazing wardrobe (im not doing to bad there specially if we go by y shoe collection _ another blog!)
Be clear and focused (check)
married/boyfriend situation ...(Che...naw i'm just playin lolll ahhha hhha haaaa...ahem ok sorry not funny at all!)
Have a wildly succesful puffy"bad boy" type label thing running..(errr no! i dont want that anymore ...specially after really investigating what happens w labels artists etc over here and the states and having lived through it...i have a heart i really do!)
Yada yada.blah blah..blah...
i can go on for ever the list was long i didn't have much but church to do when i was a youngin...
well for the positive i can say, im quite happy with the way i've turned out...
Bought a house @ the age of 24,
Won a good few awards (and will win many more)
Earning my own money and not relying on a man...
have been told by many of my male friends (a few of which i'm sure want piece..) that
I'm quite a catch (then catch me for fucks sakes!!)
own a fantastic wardrobe full of shoes clothes and (as of recently) lady dresses!!! no not mummy dresses...
I have a tight community of close and good friends some whom i've known for EVER some i've known a few months... and i love em all back
....and i could go on
anyway - shortcomings -
i can rest assured in the fact that at least by 35.. will be exactly where i want to be because i now have the skills to make it happen (plus no one takes you serious till your 30 anyway..) so hers looking forward to turning 20 or 30 yrs old -
(my guess by next year the catchphrase will be 40's the new 20's...lollllllll.....)
