V - day aka E - day...jetlag...
Yes people I'm back from la/miami and a fabulous couple weeks of WORK!
got 5 brand new songs done, making it more and more difficult to be able to pick the songs for this album now...(damn me and my talent - thank you jesus!)
yep you guessed it im still up..its 2.20 am UK time...jetlag...when i started pondering on the things i said i'd do this year to celebrate me..instead of waiting for someone else to do it...
every year i have a crappy valentines day...mainly cos i live in hope that maybe just maybe that crush will call to speak to me, or he might have magically gotten my address and sent some flowers, or i may have a boyfriend (ahahaaaaaaahaaahhhhaaaahh...oh i crack myself up)
so this year instead of waiting on any of those i'm devising a plan of things to do on valentines day when your single...
1 - Something selfless
2 - See a new film i've been waiting to see
3 - Go to marks and spencers and buy totally weird gourmet food and proceed to cook it like i was nigella lawson(google her)!!! (Making allll her remarks as I go along...tee hee hee)
4 -Look gorgeous alll day (no headscarf!)
5 - Buy me some roses!!!
6 - Call all my single FAMILY and FRIENDS male female and tell em HAPPY ("E" aka "You") day...because I do love em
7 Wear some red shoes and a bustier (under my clothes)
Ok thats as far as i've gotten...
Any other suggestions?

woman you know valentines day is just made as a way to make women feel horribly single and men feel obliged or just guilty!! Forget it..work and do you. Go have a pedi or a massage :)

No i dont agree...therefore im going to enjoy myself...i think a new pair of shoes are in order - its like carrie said walking these streets as as a singleton is hard enough, may as well have some pretty shoes to it in!

I'm with ya girl. Next year will be D-day (wait that sounds destructive) So let's just call it "me-day". Key words - bubble bath and candles!!!

I'm addicted to the headscarf, if I am not on the street it is on my head and sometimes on a Sunday morning I even wear it too the corner shop said way!
