Yes i know i take my time updating...but you guys know im working sooo i have something to write about...i mean you'd hate it if i just said hi - i went to lunch today and i ate dinner yesterday right?

well actually I have been doing a whooooole lot of dinner and lunch (trying to get/keep my weight on an even keel - ya'll know i weigh "air" - which people are trying to convince me is ok - but i come from a family of sturdy - read not huge - girls...so frankly i'd like more ass and thighs...unfortunately w that comes belly which i def don't want...)
anyway enough of my personal neurosis...
So to fil you in on the last few months...
I've (w the help of very talented label folk - Eric/Rachelle and the team) done a photo shoot - for the album - (pics are coming soooon...)
Matt jones shot it he is the picture editor for ID MAGAZINE....its gorgeous...and so ahead...Our nightime shots are the ysl fall campaign before it came out...So fresh - gotta luv it!

I've been mastering the album (Drew/Amanda)
mixing the album (craig/drew /Amanda/john/myself/serge alll @ platinum sound studios..)
moving house! (christa/reg/AARON/Tiffany)
rehearsing - (tiffany/AV/Royston)
promoting in the UK - we have to do things 3 months ahead so i went and did radio and press intvs for the single...******WHICH COMES OUT IN THE UK NOV 19TH****** so make sure you download it - i tunes BUY the single however you can
twas fun i got to see my family and hang out for a couple days....my neice and nephew are growing soo fast and my sisters and brothers make me so proud....i do miss em..but skype is a wonderful thing so i don't feel toooo bad...
Also attended the mobo awds..they called me out last minute to give amy winehouse her best female award...i was soooo happy for her...that album is a CLASSIC.
it made me laugh that people who think i don't already know her - or don't like her - white girl doing soul music etc yawn - said stuff to me to get on my "good side" like "oooh she looked terrible - you made her look good..." "i thought she was gonna headbutt you..." just general haterism...
People - on a personal i've known amy for 5 years on the circuit...from we used to get called onstage every monday @ 10 rooms by patrick to sing...and we used to hide...
so pls stop i like her and wish her the best of health ...everyone has theor something..let the girl be. at least she's living HONESTLY.
more than i can say for the vast majority of people w comments.
so i came back sat in my house for a day - ran around manhattan w tiffany changing blinds...small ones for temporary paper ones...cost 5 dollars and look great for - "i don't want the whole of manhattan and brooklyn seeing me in my knickers..." privacy is key!
Aaaaand have been rehearsing for the a show at the end of the month in london as part of the electric proms - i hear the show is sold out - now this is a huge thing for me...suprise surprise believe it or not....i have never played my own individual show there...and to make it a fantastic plus ITS SOLD OUT!!!! shitttt...
So right now i'm just sitting in the rehearsal room listening to the band get it right for this show...i promise to not dissapoint...it WILL be pretty hot and entertaining...i promise...

It's great to see life is fulfilling itself and you are having a great time. You looked good at the MOBO's. Great to have an award ceremony representing the British and international RnB Scene.
