    Good Afternoon #mydarlings! I had SO much fun last night! #CHI-TOWN, are y'all ready for the Doll tonight? Check me out at the Double Door. It's Friday night... I know some of y'all just got paid.     #myhairislaid like..... I'm sorry #mydarlings, I couldn't resist. Today for my #BlackHistoryMonth tribute, we are celebrating the legendary countess of the coif Madame CJ Walker, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and activist.

    Born Sarah Breedlove on a Delta, Louisiana plantation, this daughter of former slaves transformed herself from an uneducated farm laborer and laundress into one of the twentieth century’s most successful, self-made women entrepreneurs. [She] revolutionized the hair care and cosmetics industry for African American women early in the 20th century.

    Good Morning #mydarlings! Happy #BlackHistoryMonth! Every day of this month we will be celebrating another artist, activist or pioneer of African descent. We'll start with the US but also cover some other countries as well. You know I've gotta represent for the great Black Brits too! Today we feature Garrett A. Morgan.

    A pioneer inventor, Garrett A. Morgan was responsible for the creation of such life-saving inventions as the gas mask and traffic lights. In a long and productive career that spanned over forty years, Garret A.
