Good Evening #mydarlings! I know everyone is ready to get their weekend started! TGIF for REAL! I wanted to take a moment to let you all know about something important I am doing. Next week, I have the honor of performing at the 2012 Emery Awards After Party. Many of you may not know this, but in addition to being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October is also Anti Bullying Month.  The Emery Awards are the Hetrick-Martin Institute's way of honoring people and businesses that have made a reputation of standing up with and for at-risk youth.  I've had had my fair share of people try and tear me down when I was younger. Hell, even now some folks try to come for the doll. I was fortunate enough to have a support system in my family that would never let those that wanted to hold me back and break me down dull my shine. All young people need someone to advocate for them, especially those who are the unfortunate victims of bullying.  For more information about The Hetrick-Martin Institute, the sponsor of Monday's awards, click here.

    Enjoy your weekend #mydarlings!
