I'm a blog reader...y'all know what that is. Lol so I wanted to do this event tonight for my blogging darlings. Those of you in the bloggershere have always shown me love no matter what I'm wearing, no matter what my hair looks like, no matter what I'm doing...so I wanted to make sure to show love back to y'all and have you come out and have a special listen to my new album #AllofMe.
This album is my life. It took me 3 years to make because I actually had to live it. You hear me? I HAD to LIVE it and sometimes it was uncomfortable as a mug. I enjoy the songwriting process, but sometimes it gets painful.
Are people gonna laugh at me being that bare?
That vulnerable?
That open?

Lol I was singing that song damn near every night for 3 years. On stage I was doing it for the blood... American Boy Off stage, it was a totally different story. Everything was falling down around me. Friends I thought would hold me down threw major shade. My boyfriend turned out not to be the man I thought he was. Because I was traveling so much, I wasn't able to deal with my offstage life right at that moment.
Management finally told me, "Go back and become an artist again. Go remember why it is you love music & wanted to make music."
I listened to what they said and I went and made music that reminded me why I loved and wanted to make music. I made an album that allows you to hear, see, feel all of what I was going through and dealing with. I wanted to give #mydarlings #ALLOFME and that is precisely what I did.
