I hope that those of you who are out in #LA will join me on November 11th, 2012 for the first annual Girls with Gifts Charity Bowling Event. For those who do not know, Girls with Gifts mission is "to cultivate the passions of young ladies ages 11-18, with emphasis on art, education and entertainment. Following the mantra, "reach back, pull forward," GWG is an organization focused on changing the world through talented young women, one gift at a time." I think this is an incredibly worthy cause and a good way for you all in the LA area to #DO something.

It is no secret to most that I have been happy to call NYC my home off an on for the 4 years I've lived in the US. What has happened to my city and the surrounding areas in the last few days has broken my heart. That I was away while it was happening has made me ache to my core. Ache is useless unless you choose to do something about it.
